Revision Round

What this is about

Rounds are the unit clients understand and quotes can count. What they rarely define is where one ends: consolidated feedback delivered inside an agreed window is one round, while three separate mails on three days are three, unless the offer says otherwise. Write that rule into the quote next to the number of rounds. A round corrects inside the agreed scope — trimming a sequence, swapping a take, fixing a lower third. A wish that adds a new scene or another language version leaves that frame and becomes a change request instead.

A term only helps when everyone on set means the same thing by it — so what follows is how it is used, not a dictionary definition.

What runs differently here

Where this differs from the general case:

• Define what closes a round: consolidated feedback within an agreed window, delivered through one channel
• Rounds correct inside the scope; anything that enlarges the scope is a change request with a price
• Price the additional round in the original quote, so the fourth one is a rate and not a negotiation
